We Are The Story Tellers

From Africa’s first drums,
to the caves lit by fire and handprints on stone,
to the chants in ancient temples,
to the stages of Athens,
to the concert halls of Europe,
to the reels of Hollywood — we have always been here.

We are not merchants of distraction.
We are not sellers of noise.
We are the pulse that binds memory to meaning.

Others live the moment.
We make it endure.
We hold the mirror up so the world can see itself.

When voices were stifled, we carried them forward.
When memory was scattered, we gathered it again.
When truth was buried, we uncovered it in story.

We are The Storytellers.
We are the tribe who refuse to let silence have the final word.

We show what it means to rise —
and what it costs to fall.
We carry the laughter of children and the grief of widows.
We record the courage of those who stand, and the hesitation of those who turn away.

From griots to poets, from playwrights to filmmakers, from musicians to painters — the mediums change, but the calling is the same.

And now, as cameras roll and music swells, as scripts unfold and arcs are scored, our lineage continues.
We are not relics of the past.
We are the past alive in the present.
We are the future, waiting to be remembered.

We are The Storytellers.
And through us, the world sees itself.
